MORRIS K UDALL PARK

7200 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson, AZ 85715

Is one of the top selected locations for potential development of further habitation. The park is relatively cool due to a prevalence of rainwater basins, has several elevated places that would work well for construction that would avoid flooding, and even has a prebuilt space that could become a garden.

The site was renovated in 2025 by the plans of a relatively unknown landscape architect named Wyatt Diestler. We sought them out as part of this proposal to see how they might recommend redesigning for residential on top of their park but they died in 2037 during the third water war of Tucson.

The site is also nearby to a large area of relatively undisturbed nature and two washes, meaning water is likely to be more plentiful in the area.
